Ohiwa Beach Holiday Park in Opotiki is a family owned and operated Ohope Beach holiday park. We pride ourselves on our personal and friendly service and wish you an enjoyable stay with us.

Since purchasing Ohiwa Beach Holiday Park in 1990, our aim has been to preserve and enhance our unique beach and harbour environment while expanding our tourism market with our Ohiwa Beach accommodation facilities.

Here at Ohiwa Beach Holiday Park we strive to maintain our clean, natural environment. We provide onsite recycling bins and solar and water heating, most effective in the peak season when the sun’s heat is at its greatest.

Native trees planted throughout our holiday park provide shade and hillside protection while our buildings are designed to make the most of our sunny location.

We take an active role in protecting our beach and sand dunes and encourage our guests to help us preserve this beautiful natural environment.

We respect the historic Maori significance of our land with its 17 known pa sites on the South Eastern boarder. We value Ohiwa Harbour as a seafood resource for local people, and Ohiwa Beach, home to the endangered dotterel in the summer time.
